The Vietnamese Apostolate and community celebrated Tet on Sunday, Feb. 2, with a Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Albany. Tet, which marks the first day of the Lunar New Year, is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture. The word Tet is short for Tet Nguyen Dan, which means “Feast of the First Morning of the First Day.”
