Hi, my name is Tatum Liverio, I’m 13 years old and I’ve been attending Blessed Sacrament School for seven years. I’m currently in eighth grade and I will most likely attend high school at Bishop Maginn.
Why Catholic education is important
Ever since second grade, my Catholic education has been important to me. Not only do I have God in my life every day, I’ve learned how to be a good follower of Jesus and a good student. Blessed Sacrament taught me how to help others and how to be a good friend. Going to school here showed me how to always carry God with me, and how God gives us love, hope, faith, confidence and guidance. With open arms, Blessed Sacrament and its kind and patient teachers, welcomed me into the Catholic school community. I will forever be grateful to BSS because it’s my second family.
What Catholic education has meant to me
For me, Catholic education means to work hard and never give up. As a high-honor roll student, I aim for straight A’s and I’m currently pushing for valedictorian of my eighth-grade class. Luckily, I was a member of Future Cities for two years and president of Student Council in seventh grade. As well as teaching me to care about my grades and behavior, BSS helped me to be understanding, compassionate, generous and maintain integrity. Though this is my last year here, I will take with me all the values and the memories the community has given me and I will give back. My years as a Catholic school student showed me how to make the right decisions.
Overall, my Catholic school experience has made me the person I am today. Luckily, I have gotten a great scholastic and life education along with making many great friends and family. I’m proud to say that I will be a BSS eighth-grade graduate!
