The Evangelist, Diocese of Albany win eight media awards
The Evangelist and the Diocese of Albany won eight awards at the Catholic Press Association media conference last week in Florida.
The Evangelist won three awards:
Best Seasonal Issue:
Third Place: The Evangelist, Christmas 2018.
Best Feature Writing - Weekly Diocesan Newspaper, Circulation 25,000 or More:
Honorable Mention: The Evangelist, Local Sister Assisting Refugees Along Texas-Mexico border by Emily Benson.
Best News Writing on National or International Event - National Event, Diocesan Newspaper:
Honorable Mention, The Evangelist, Marching for Life in D.C. by Emily Benson.
The Diocese won five awards for its social media and multimedia work:
Best Social Media Campaign:
