Maher is a nine-time Grammy Nominee, whose chart-topping hits include: “Lord, I Need You,” (No. 4 on the charts and his first certified-platinum song), “Christ Is Risen,” “Because He Lives” (No. 1 on the charts) and “Your Grace Is Enough.” He was also named Songwriter of the Year at the 2015 GMA Dove awards and has written songs for Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Third Day and Matt Redman.
Maher, who was born in Newfoundland and lives in the United States, has performed “Lord, I Need You” before a crowd of nearly four million people, which included Pope Francis, for World Youth Day 2013 in Rio, Brazil.
