Giuliano Isopo Sr. <br/>Josephine L. Isopo
A funeral Mass was offered Aug. 17 at St. Luke’s Church, Schenectady, for Giuliano Isopo Sr., who died Aug. 11. He was 91.
A funeral Mass had been offered July 27 at St. Luke’s for his wife of 67 years, Josephine Isopo, who died July 23. She was 89.
A native of Fontechiari, Italy, Mr. Isopo emigrated to the United States in 1947 and married Josephine DiPietro in 1951. He retired from General Electric Co. after 40 years and founded and operated G.I. Aluminum Products Co., and was successful in real estate. A native of Schenectady, Mrs. Isopo dedicated her life to her family.
Together, the couple raised seven children. Survivors include their children, Dr. Patricia Croteau; Rev. Dominic Isopo, pastor of St. Luke’s; Giuliano Jr.; Jo-Ann Davis; Maria Barringer; and Anthony; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and Mr. Isopo’s brother, Sante.
Interment was at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
