St. Paul the Apostle parish in Schenectady is offering RCIA for children, a program designed for kids six-18 years old who are unbaptized or baptized in another Christian tradition and whose parents, guardians or themselves desire want to become Roman Catholic. It’s also for children baptized in the Catholic Church who have had little or no religious education and want to receive First Communion or confirmation. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30, starting in October; monthly “Growing up Catholic” Sessions provide an opportunity for a child and parent or guardian to attend a class together.
