The Daughters of Charity religious order is having an art exhibit at The Admin Building Galleries, 96 Menand Rd., Albany, Nov. 16 from 2:30-6 p.m....

St. Anne Institute in Albany planned one of its periodic ice cream socials; volunteers serve sundaes to students in preschool, day services, residential programs and more. Also, “Annie’s Café Night” is held monthly at St. Anne Institute, which educates many troubled teen girls, to honor girls who are working to reach their goals. At Saratoga Central Catholic High School, students have restored signs for the local American Legion over the past two years. Last year for Christmas, the USS Saratoga was restored and repainted; this year for Giving Day, two large American Legion Emblems are being restored.
