OBITUARY
Sister Kathleen Burke, DC
A funeral Mass was offered Oct. 31 at the DePaul Provincial House chapel, Menands, for Sister Kathleen Burke, who died Oct. 26. She was 75 and had been a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul for 57 years.
A native of Syracuse, she served in the field of education at St. Joseph’s School in Holbrook, Mass., and many New York educational facilities. Her religious order recalled her as “the sister who spoke softly and always had a smile.”
Survivors include her sisters, Sharon and Patty; and her brothers, Jerry and Michael. Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
