OBITUARY
Sister Margaret Paul Scrodin, CSJ
A funeral Mass was offered June 18 in the chapel of St. Joseph’s Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Margaret Paul Scrodin, who died June 14. She was 97 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 75 years.
A native of Hudson, she taught for 45 years in schools of the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses, including 23 years in her alma mater, St. Mary’s School, Hudson; and 13 years at St. Peter’s Academy, Saratoga Springs. In addition, she was manager of central supply at St. Joseph’s Provincial House for 16 years.
Survivors include her siblings, Benjamin, Genevieve Van Tine and Bernadette Orr. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.
