OBITUARY
Sister Rosemarie Murray, RSM
A funeral Mass was offered June 12 in the chapel of the Convent of Mercy, Albany, for Sister Rosemarie Murray, who died June 7. She had been a Sister of Mercy for 72 years.
A native of Albany, she taught at schools in the Albany Diocese including St. John’s in Rensselaer; St. Margaret Mary’s, Our Lady of Mercy and St. Teresa of Avila in Albany; St. Mary’s in Waterford; and St. Mary’s in Clinton Heights. She also volunteered in Rev. Smythe’s adult education program in Albany’s South End and played guitar for residents at McAuley assisted living facility.
Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
