Sister Dolores V. Puglis, MPV

A funeral Mass was offered June 1 at St. Anthony’s Church, Schenectady, for Sister Dolores Puglis, who died May 28. She had been a Venerini sister for 63 years. A native of Gloversville, she taught in schools run by the sisters in Rhode Island; in Leominister, Fitchburg and Pittsfield, Mass.; and at St. Anthony’s in Schenectady. She was principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Gloversville, from 1989-91, then returned to direct St. Anthony’s preschool and after-school programs. Survivors include a sister, Joan Fudger of Johnstown. Interment was at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
