A funeral Mass was offered June 1 in the chapel of St. Joseph’s Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Anthony Marie Leary, who died May 28. She was 87 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 66 years. A native of Rutland, Vt., she was an x-ray technician at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson and, in religious life, spent nearly 50 years at St. Mary’s Hospital (now St. Mary’s Healthcare) in Amsterdam: 40 years as an x-ray technician and later as a clerk and receptionist. Survivors include her sister, Corinne Millard. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.
