William G. Hohenstein Jr.

A funeral Mass was offered March 3 at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, Rotterdam Junction, for William Hohenstein Jr., who died Feb. 28. He was 78.

A native of Albany, he served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the Bank of America and, later, in private security. Survivors include his wife, Peggy; children, William III, Elizabeth Gadoua and Brian; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and his siblings, Rev. Robert Hohenstein, pastor emeritus of Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish in Schenectady; and Janet Gabriels. Interment was in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. [[In-content Ad]]
