Three movements
1. "Light Through Dark Glass" is "a musical version of that unique aspect of stained glass, employing dark and low instrumental timbres for a solemn and then a shimmering effect."
2. "Favrile (Hand Made)" refers to the glassmaker's technique of hand-mixing glass to create complex colors and textures. The music "incorporat[es] something of the metallic hammering and frenetic rhythmic activity that might be part of the life of a glassworks."
3. "Cloud Circle" is based on the window depicting Mary's Assumption into heaven. As Mary is surrounded by fluttering angels, the movement "involves the timbral transformation of a chorale with fluttering effects used throughout." (KB)
