SPECIAL ISSUE
Snapshot of diocese looks at 14 counties
This week's issue contains 14 feature or photo stories, one for each county in the Albany Diocese (pages 2-15).
The Evangelist is offering this special section for two reasons: as part of our ongoing coverage of Called to be Church (see www.evangelist.org for an archive of previous coverage) and in celebration of February as Catholic Press Month.
In the county profiles, we look at many aspects of Catholic life, including a permanent deacon in training, parishes refurbishing aspects of their physical plants, young Catholics growing in faith and what ordinary parishioners do.
Taken together, this coverage offers a portrait of Catholics in the Albany Diocese.
