Six priests of the Albany Diocese are celebrating 40 years of ministry this year:

In 1981, he became pastor of Most Precious Blood parish in South Kortright. He is now pastor of Holy Cross, Morris.
Father Burns has not finalized plans to note his jubilee.
* Rev. Nicholas Campagnone, a native of Glens Falls, has ministered at St. Anthony's, Albany; St. Mary's, Frankfort; St. Patrick's, Catskill (while teaching at St. Patrick's Academy); St. Patrick's, Athens; and St. Patrick's, Johnstown (while on the faculty of Bishop Burke High in Gloversville).
He has also been a chaplain for the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse in Albany, the Capital District Psychiatric Center and Four Winds Psychiatric Hospital in Saratoga Springs. In addition, he taught at Maria College in Albany.
Father Campagnone will mark his jubilee with family.
* Rev. Anthony Chiaramonte, a native of Albany, served at St. Mary's in Oneonta and then began studies in counseling. He has taught at SUNY-Oneonta and Hartwick College, and at Maria College and The College of Saint Rose, both in Albany.
Since 1989, he has been director of the Albany diocesan Consultation Center.
His Mass of Thanksgiving, marking his anniversary, will be celebrated May 22, 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Colonie.
* Rev. Joseph Dworak, a native of Green Island, has served as associate pastor at Our Lady of Victory, Troy; St. Vincent de Paul, Cobleskill (while chaplain at SUNY/Cobleskill); and St. Teresa of Avila, Albany.
In 1978, he was appointed pastor of Our Lady of Victory. After 19 years as chaplain at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, he was named pastor of St. Joseph's, Fort Edward. Since February of this year, he has been pastor of St. Mary/St. Paul's, Hudson Falls.
Father Dworak has already formally marked his jubilee with parishioners. On his actual ordination date, May 29, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, he said, "I hope to celebrate the Eucharist with them with gratitude and joy."
* Rev. Michael Hogan, a native of Glens Falls, has served at St. Gabriel's, Rotterdam; Catholic Central High School in Troy; and Maria College and The College of Saint Rose, both in Albany.
In 1969, he founded Hospitality House Inc., a therapeutic residential community for people addicted to drugs. He also founded Lancaster House, the first residential community for mental health patience in New York; the first alcoholic halfway house for men in the Capital Region; and Shevlin House, a group home for boys. He has also been chaplain at Bishop Maginn High School, Albany.
Since 1992, he has been pastor of Sacred Heart/St. Columba parish in Schenectady. He is also pastor of St. Joseph's and St. John the Baptist in the same city.
Father Hogan has no public plans to mark his jubilee.
* Rev. Robert Nugent is noting more than one jubilee; this year is not only his 40th anniversary, but also his 20th year as pastor of St. Michael's in S. Glens Falls and the parish's 50th anniversary.
A native of Troy, he has also served at Immaculate Conception, Schenectady, while on the faculty of Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons School; as pastor of St. Joseph's, Scotia; and as a teacher at St. Mary's Academy in Glens Falls.
