Sisters celebrate
Forty Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet marked their jubilees of religious life during a March 13 celebration at their Provincial House in Latham. They share 2,315 years of service:
* 75th: Sisters Francis Denise Haley, Rose Bernard Donna and Genevieve Greisler (formerly Leon Marie);
* 70th: Sisters Margaret Fogarty (Edward Claire), Helen Marie Schumacher (John Berchmans), Rita Beck (Joseph Michaella), Catherine Schuyler (John Emmanuel), Vera Walsh (Mary Cyril), Mary O'Leary (Thomas Leo), Margaret Keeshan (Clarence Paul) and Dorothy Austikolins (Dorothy Frances);
* 60th: Sisters Elizabeth Jean Allard (Elizabeth John), Dorothy Root (Amelia Joseph), Mary Lois Goldner, Anne Lawrence Clark, Anne Michael Mirabito (Joseph Michael), M. Catharine Ryan (John Francis), Louise Bauer (Mary Donald), John Loretta Sinnott, Annamae Catherine Kenny (James Catherine), Catherine Crispo (Miriam Frances), Dorothy Anne Flood (Anne Robert), Jeanne Kelly (Jeanne Monica) and Theresa Fournier;
* 50th: Sisters Mary Ellen Curtin (Marie Adele), Maureen Nelligan (Maureen Thomas), Patricia Ann Gibson (Marie Frederick), Marie Aloysius Schuh, Ruth Cecilia Dowd, Jean Patrice DiFulvio, Jean Therese Owens, Rose Regina Smith, Sara Ann Cannon, Maureen Anne Burns (Mary Antoine), Bernice Ann Carroll, Celine Courtney, Helene Daniel Courtney and Frances Celine MacFarland;
* 25th: Sisters Renee Adamany and Carolyn Chmielewski.
