Sister William Aloysius Fitzpatrick, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered July 6 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister William Aloysius Fitzpatrick, who died July 2. She was 93 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 68 years.

A native of New York City, she was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps before entering religious life. As a sister, she served for 56 years at St. Mary's Hospital (now St. Mary's Healthcare) in Amsterdam as a supervisor in maternity, maternal child health and pediatric health care, an instructor in the school of nursing and a pastoral care associate.

Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
