OBITUARY
Sister Ruth Mahar, DC
A funeral Mass was offered Oct., 10 in the DePaul Provincial House Chapel, Menands, for Sister Ruth Mahar, who died Oct. 6. She was 96 and had been a Daughter of Charity for 78 years.
A native of Troy, she taught in four states and cared for children in Albany and in Philadelphia, where she also worked with the elderly and homebound.
Survivors include a sister, Veronica Norton of Troy, and a brother, Philip of Watervliet. Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
