OBITUARY
Sister Rose Miriam Schillinger, CSJ
A native of Watervliet, she served for 64 years as a teacher, principal, administrator, librarian and counselor, spending 24 years in schools of the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses and 40 years in Hawaii. She taught at St. Joseph's Schools in Schenectady, Troy and, Fort Edward and was principal of St. Mary's Institute, Amsterdam. In addition, she was assistant to the administrator at St. Joseph's Provincial House and a member of the vice-province leadership team in Hawaii.
Survivors include two sisters, Marion Stangler and Marjorie Schramek, both of Florida. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
