Sister Rita Catherine Haber, CSJ

A memorial Mass was offered Feb. 27 for Sister Rita Haber, who died Feb. 17. She was 95 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 70 years.

A native of Schenectady, she spent 35 years at The College of Saint Rose in Albany as an instructor in business subjects, mathematics and German, and as registrar. She was also assistant director and superior of her order's Carondelet House of Studies and Provincial House treasurer. Survivors include siblings James, Donald, Lottie Burke and Claudia Brodsky. Sister Rita was a participant in the Anatomical Gift Program at Albany Medical College and donated her remains for medical education and research.[[In-content Ad]]
