Sister Philip Maria Coffey, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Dec. 28 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Philip Maria Coffey, who died Dec. 23. She was 91 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 73 years.

A native of Albany, she taught for four decades in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses and served in the Mulberry Hill Arts at the Provincial House.

Survivors include a brother, Eugene, of East Syracuse. Interment was at Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.
