OBITUARY
Sister Mary Joan Newell, CSJ
A native of Utica, she taught for 36 years in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses and in Savannah, Georgia. She was religious education coordinator for St. Joseph's parish in Fort Edward for 13 years and spent 10 years as chaplain at a hospital in Utica.
Interment was at Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
