Sister Mary Herman Marhafer, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Oct. 31 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Mary Herman Marhafer, who died Oct. 25. She was 91 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 72 years.

A native of Schenectady, she served for 35 years in the field of education, on the elementary level and in catechetics. For 22 years, she worked as a driver and a receptionist at St. Joseph's Provincial House.

Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
