OBITUARY
Sister Mary Elizabeth Maney, RDC
A native of Geneva, N.Y., she attended Cathedral Academy in Albany and Siena College in Loudonville. She was a stenographer for the New York State Department of Public Works before entering religious life and also served during World War II in the U.S. Coast Guard Women's Reserve.
As a sister, she taught in various schools in New York, served as registrar for Good Counsel College/Pace University and in Pace's graduate registrar office, and worked for her religious order. She was one of five veterans whose portraits were painted for a mural at The University at Albany's Veterans' Wall of Honor (read a story at www.evangelist.org).
Interment will be at Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.[[In-content Ad]]
