OBITUARY
Sister Marguerite Tierney, CSJ
A native of Syracuse, she taught for 19 years in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses and in Michigan, directed a Catholic Charities bureau in the Syracuse Diocese and was project coordinator of Schoharie Community Life and Family Services for Catholic Charities in the Albany Diocese. She was an intervention specialist in Syracuse and for Catholic Central High School, Troy, and a spiritual director and counselor in Michigan, North Carolina, Syracuse and St. Peter's Addiction Recovery Center, Albany. She worked in mission integration at St. Mary's Health Care, Amsterdam, and served at St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham.
Survivors include her sisters, Patricia, Marian and Julie Mullen. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
