Sister Margarita Santos, RSCJ

A funeral Mass was offered March 15 in the Teresian House chapel, Albany for Sister Margarita Santos, who died March 8. She was 89 and had been a Religious of the Sacred Heart for 63 years.

A native of Puerto Rico, she came to the United States to serve outside of Philadelphia, then in Maryland and at the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. She served for one year at Kenwood Day Care in Albany and then in San Francisco and with preschool and elementary children at Doane Stuart Academy in Albany.

Interment was in the Kenwood Convent cemetery, Albany. [[In-content Ad]]
