Sister John Marion Looby, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Nov. 9 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister John Marion Looby, who died Nov. 7. She was 88 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 65 years.

A native of Troy, she taught for 46 years in schools and parishes in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses, including 17 years at Sacred Heart School in Troy, and served after retirement at St. Joseph's Provincial House.

Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
