Sister Helen Eugene McNally, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Jan. 3 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Helen Eugene McNally, who died Dec. 29. She was 94 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 76 years.

A native of Belfast, Ireland, she taught in schools in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses for 37 years, worked for Catholic Charities in Syracuse, spent 10 years as a patient representative at St. Clare's Hospital, Schenectady, and was a tutor for 12 years at Albany County Jail.

Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
