Sister Florence Edward Kearney, DC

A funeral Mass was offered Feb. 26 in the DePaul Provincial House chapel, Menands, for Sister Florence Edward Kearney, who died Feb. 19. She was 82 and had been a Daughter of Charity for 61 years. A native of Mount Vernon, N.Y., she taught in Maryland, South Carolina and New York, including at Cardinal McCloskey High School in Albany, was an administrator with children's homes and was director of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey. Survivors include a brother, Edward. Interment was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
