Sister Ellen Hensberry, DC

A funeral Mass was offered Feb. 19 at DePaul House Chapel, Menands, for Sister Ellen Hensberry, who died Feb. 15. She was 88 and had been a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul for 69 years.

A native of Syracuse, she served in education in Virginia, Maryland and New York, and as local community superior at St. Louise House, Albany and DePaul Provincial House, Menands.

Survivors include siblings Kathryn and Philip. Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
