Sister Eileen Crosby, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Sept. 26 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Eileen Crosby, who died Sept. 21. She was 93 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 75 years.

A native of Syracuse, she taught piano and music in the Syracuse and Albany Dioceses, including St. Mary's School in Little Falls and Cathedral Academy in Albany, and was a parish minister in Fulton. Later, she served in Binghamton, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.

Survivors include a sister, Patricia Crosby of Syracuse. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
