OBITUARY
Sister Denise Anne Williams, DC
A native of New Rochelle, she taught in New York State, including Bishop Maginn High School in Albany; was, at various times, a local superior for her religious order in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New York; served at a high school in Pennsylvania; and taught and was a registar at Labouré College in Boston. From 2003-11, she was provincial secretary for the former Northeast Province of the Daughters of Charity in Albany. She was registrar at St. Vincent's College in Connecticut and served in other leadership roles for her order. In September, she began serving at Catholic Academy of Niagara Falls.
Survivors include her brothers, Charles of Vero Beach, Fla., and John of Brewster, Mass. Interment was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
