Sister Constance Casey, SNJM

A funeral Mass was offered March 19 at Mater Christi Church, Albany, for Sister Constance Casey, who died March 14. She was 70 and had been a Sister of the Holy Names for 51 years.

A native of Troy, she taught in Virginia, Florida and elsewhere in New York and was principal and then president of the Academy of the Holy Names in Albany over a span from 1977-2009, in addition to a host of other leadership positions for her order and service for area schools and organizations. Survivors include siblings Mary Beth O'Brien and Frank of Albany and Ellen Gorke of New Jersey.[[In-content Ad]]
