Sister Barbara Hesler, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Feb. 17 at St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Barbara Hesler, who died Feb. 13. She was 98 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 70 years.

A native of Schenectady, she taught and was a librarian for 40 years in the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses, including at The College of Saint Rose in Albany.

Survivors include a brother, Wilfred, of Schenectady. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
