Sister Barbara Duncovich, CSJ

A funeral Mass was offered Feb. 24 in the chapel of St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, for Sister Barbara Duncovich, who died Feb. 20. She was 91 and had been a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 71 years.

A native of Amsterdam, she taught for 47 years in schools of the Albany and Syracuse Dioceses and in Hopedale, Mass. She also was a literacy volunteer and a reader for the RISE Radio Service for the Blind. Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Virgins Cemetery, Latham.[[In-content Ad]]
