OBITUARY
Rev. Rufino Maloney, OFM Conv.
A native of Cohoes, he taught in Trenton, N.J., and Pittsburgh and was a guidance counselor. He was procurator at St. Anthony-on-Hudson Friary in Rensselaer from 1972-79, then an associate pastor in Bridgeport until 1985; the remainder of his life was spent ministering in the Albany area at Our Lady of Angels Friary and as director of pastoral care at Albany County and Ann Lee nursing homes. He was also chaplain to the Christian Brothers at LaSalle Institute, Troy.
Survivors include siblings William of Cohoes and Rose Petronis of Mechanicville. Interment was in Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Albany.[[In-content Ad]]
