OBITUARY
Rev. Raymond Piechocki, 93
A native of Amsterdam, he first served at Sacred Heart parish in Arkville and then as associate pastor at St. Adalbert's and St. Mary's, both in Schenectady; St. Stanislaus and St. John the Baptist, both in Amsterdam; and St. Joseph's in Green Island. He was then administrator of Sacred Heart parish in Hudson. He served as pastor of Sacred Heart parish in Little Falls and, for many years, St. Stanislaus in Amsterdam. In 1976, he was appointed chaplain of Mt. Loretto nursing home in Amsterdam, where he served faithfully until his retirement in 1997.
After nearly seven decades of priesthood, may the Lord welcome Father Piechocki into the heavenly kingdom and may he be granted eternal life and peace.[[In-content Ad]]
