Rev. Matthew T. Conlin, OFM

A funeral Mass was offered April 27 at the chapel of Siena College, Loudonville, for Rev. Matthew Conlin, who died April 14. He was 92 and had been a Franciscan friar for 70 years and a priest for 66. He had been president of Siena College from 1970-76 and, prior to that, had taught and served there in other roles since 1945.

Later, he taught elsewhere, served the homeless, was a pastor and a prison chaplain and ministered at St. Francis Chapel in Colonie. He donated his body to New York Medical College in Valhalla.[[In-content Ad]]
