OBITUARY
Rev. Mathias Doyle, OFM
A native of Malone, N.Y., he taught at St. Francis College in Massachusetts, at Siena College, at St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, N.Y., and at Holy Name College in Silver Spring, Md.,; served as guardian of the Franciscan community at Siena and assistant director of his province's pre-novitiate program and spent 15 years as president of St. Bonaventure University. He worked with the U.S. Agency for International Development (AID) in Washington, served at St. Anthony's Shrine in Boston and directed Siena's Franciscan Center for Service and Advocacy while ministering at a parish and an assisted living facility in the Loudonville area.
Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
