OBITUARY
Rev. John E. Van Hook, OFM
A native of Fair Lawn, N.J., he spent 60 years at Siena College in Loudonville, teaching and heading the philosophy department. He contributed articles to scholarly journals and published Systematic Philosophy in 1979 and was a visiting scholar at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He retired from teaching in 2004.
Survivors include a sister, Frances Caponigro of Whiting, N.J. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, N.J.[[In-content Ad]]
