Rev. Francis Xavier Gallogly, OSA

A memorial Mass will be offered Aug. 2, noon, at All Saints on the Hudson (south) Church in Mechanicville for Rev. Francis Xavier Gallogly, OSA, who died July 7. He was 82 and had been an Augustinian priest for 52 years.

A native of New York City, he was a Marist Brother and teacher before entering the Augustinian order. He then taught in Massachusetts and served at parishes in the Albany Diocese: Assumption/St. Paul parish, Mechanicville; Immaculate Conception, Hoosick Falls; and St. Augustine's, Troy. He later ministered elsewhere in New York State and in Florida and Pennsylvania.

Interment was in the Gallogly family plot in Mechanicville.[[In-content Ad]]
