OBITUARY
Rev. Capistran Hanlon, OFM
A native of Rutherford, N.J., he taught in the sociology department at Siena for four years, went away to study and came back to teach there for another 37 years, receiving an endowed chair at Siena, the Kiskis Chair. He also did weekend ministry at St. Mary's parish in Albany and assisted with the Diocese's Pre-Cana marriage preparation, Engaged Encounter program and Marriage Tribunal. He was a chaplain for the local law enforcement community and other groups.
Interment was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
