OBITUARY
Rev. Ambrose A. Donehue, OFM
A native of Albany, he served in New York City and then spent 16 years as a missionary in Japan, where he was pastor of various parishes. From 1972-94, he was a parochial vicar and hospital chaplain in Florida; he spent a year as a parochial vicar in Maryland and then served as pastoral associate for a chapel in Rhode Island until 2004, when he returned to Albany to minister at St. Francis Chapel in Colonie. He retired earlier this year.
Survivors include a sister, Roberta Ryan of Albany. Interment was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.[[In-content Ad]]
