PENTECOST POETRY
"Pentecost Sunday"
East, west, south, north
To each He gives His
Best - Fire of Tongues
To understand
Sensitive soul to
Rekindle the flame
Long suffering to
Those in pain
Comfort to the dying
Love, patience, kindness
To mothers
Innocence to the new born
Vitality to the young
Truth to the seeker
Peace to the confused
Over-anxious
Serenity to the nervous
Wisdom to the aged
Fortifier to the meek
Confidence, sublime boldness
To the weary
All is yours -
Vision, creativity
Imagination, demand
His works, ministries, gifts,
If only you believed
Faint-hearted, lukewarm
Unsure. Say "yes"
Rekindle that love and
Surely you will flow.
We are branches;
He is the vine. "Come,
Holy Spirit, fill me
With your life. Re-create
My spirit.
Let me run, sing your praises."[[In-content Ad]]
