With the help of its enrollment management team and Desmond Media and Marketing Consulting of Malta, ND-BG established a presence on social media platforms, enhancing its visibility in the community.
"We have also done TV ads," noted board president Lisa Debkowski. Students and parents have been encouraged to talk about ND-BG in their communities; the school also held open houses that showcased sports, extracurricular activities and education.
The open houses also pointed to the post-graduate experience of ND-BG students. One hundred percent of the 2016 graduating class went on to college.
Peter Fusco, principal, said that since he arrived at ND-BG two years ago, he has had a personal goal of adding 100 new students each year. This year, the school reached that, increasing its enrollment by 17 percent.
Teachers are picking up extra sections of classes to accommodate the new students.
"It definitely takes a team effort by the teachers to be on board," Mr. Fusco said.[[In-content Ad]]
