MEMORIES Good old days
* William Keleher, '55: "My most interesting memory goes all the way back to kindergarten. I had gone into the 'cloak room' to hang up my coat and walked right into a hanger that imbedded itself into my face. I clearly remember Sister Mary Francis, who we all loved, removing that hanger from my face!"
* Rosemary Winkler Hynes, '33: "I loved the Franciscan nuns. They were all so intelligent. I remember how this impressed me."
* Clare Skerritt Breslin, '44: "In fourth grade, I remember that every year we raised money for the foreign missions. For every penny we brought in, we would receive a red star. For every five, we'd get a gold star. I used to love collecting those shiny stars."
* Mary Lou Breslin Darling, '75: "I remember the pink rosary I got from Sister Rose for winning the fourth grade spelling bee. I still have those beads."
