Pictured are Christina Cuti putting candles in her Advent wreath after assembling it and Lanela Cuti and her daughter, Jennifer, making their Advent wreaths.
The Advent wreath, with its three purple candles and one pink candle, symbolizes the coming of Christ, the Light of the World; the evergreen boughs are a symbol of everlasting life. A candle is lit each Sunday of Advent as Christmas nears. See more photos in The Evangelist's print edition. (Call 518-453-6688 or email [email protected] to subscribe.)
