* helps people to receive public assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, day care, child support, home care, food, clothing, shelter, entitlement benefits, nursing home placement;
* does not charge for services;
* primarily serves Hispanic/Latino community but does not discriminate based on race, creed, color or ethnic background;
* has outreach centers in Albany, Amsterdam, Schenectady and Troy. (KB)
