BLESSED IMAGE
Guadalupe replica in Diocese
One of two blessed replicas of the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, miraculously left on Blessed Juan Diego's cape in 1531 in Mexico, will be on display in the Albany Diocese, Sept. 17-26.
"Our Lady of Guadalupe is known as the Patroness of the Americas," noted Mary Dooley, president of the Capital District Pro-Life Council, which is hosting the image. "These image panels travel throughout North and South America to encourage devotion to our Blessed Mother, also referred to as the Protectress of the Unborn."
